Family stuff and cupcake sampling

I’ve been gone a few days, enjoying visiting family and doing family stuff.  It’s always nice to do that.  It also seemed like a very good time to sample some cupcake recipes.

The two on the sample list?

Jalapeno and Dark Chocolate Bacon. Not in the same cupcake, but rather, 2 different recipes.

Oooh and I have pictures too.  Sort of.  Just not to be loaded today–I need to get home first.

How were they?

  • Interesting.
  • Adult.
  • Novel.

Will they make the cut?

I’ll be home in the next day or two.  I guess…I’ll spill the beans then.

And yes, I’ll leave you wondering.

  • What was good about them?
  • What was bad about them?
  • What do you think needs to be changed?
  • What do you think needs adjusted?

And last but not least…

What is the best texture for a mini-cupcake?

  • Intensely moist & heavy?
  • Or fluffy and somewhat dry?

Until then…

Don’t eat all the cupcakes!
